Our Story
From Concrete Foundations to Custom Homes — Built on Faith, Family, and Integrity
Nix Builders is a family-owned and operated construction company built on faith, integrity, and hard work. For nearly three decades, Nicholas and Brooke Nix have led their team in creating quality custom homes, renovations, and all types of residential and commercial construction projects throughout Alabama and surrounding areas.
Nicholas began his journey in the construction industry in his early 20s, starting with concrete work — driveways, sidewalks, and foundations. His determination and strong work ethic quickly set him apart. Over the years, his expertise grew into large-scale commercial concrete projects for Walmart, Loves Travel Stops, restaurants, and more. These experiences taught him the value of excellence in craftsmanship, customer service, and honest pricing.
As demand grew, Nicholas and Brooke built Nix Builders into a trusted name in homebuilding. Today, they specialize in custom home construction, home additions, and remodeling projects that combine modern design with timeless durability. Their mission is simple: to serve clients with excellence while honoring God in all they do (Joshua 24:15).
But Nix Builders is more than a construction company — it’s a ministry through building. Nicholas and Brooke believe every home tells a story, and they count it a blessing to help families create places where faith, love, and memories can grow. Their work reflects their Christian values, their dedication to family, and their belief that homes should be built to last for generations.
Family remains at the heart of Nix Builders. Nicholas and Brooke are proud parents to Harley and Caroline, and they treat every client like family. Whether you’re dreaming of a new custom home, looking to renovate your current space, or need a reliable builder who values integrity, Nix Builders is here to help you build something lasting.
Looking ahead, Nicholas and Brooke’s vision is clear: to continue serving families with homes that reflect quality craftsmanship, faith-filled values, and strong community roots. Every project is more than construction — it’s about building a foundation of trust and leaving a legacy of excellence.
Our mission is simple: to serve clients with excellence while honoring God in all we do.
